Body
Rules:
1.
Vacuum formed bodies are legal. Any style body is permitted
unless a class has been specified.
2.
Body must be complete at start of race.
3.
Body must completely cover chassis when viewed from above
except through legal openings (ie windows).
4.
Wheel wells may be left clear or can be cut out. Windows
can be left clear or be painted but must be present.
Chassis
Rules:
Tomy SG, BSRT G3, Tyco/Mattel, Patriot P2/P3/Scorpion/Storm,
Slottech Panther
1.
Motor magnets must be stock manufacturer ceramic with stock
polarity.
2.
Stock manufacturer ceramic traction magnets may be replaced
with Phase II type polymer traction magnets. (Eg. Tyco-
Wizzard MHP11B, BSRT 271, Slottech #66; Tomy SG+- BSRT 278;
BSRT G3- BSRT 985, 986 or 987; Wizzard Patriot/Scorpion-
Wizzard A3PE11; Slottech Panther- Slottech #66)
Stronger Phase III and/or Neo traction magnets are not permitted
3.
Any front and rear axles, tires, and wheels may be used.
This includes any readily available slip-on silicone and
silicone-foam rear tires as well as any independent and
o-ring front end sets.
4.
Any gears and/or gear ratio may be used. Any material allowed.
5.
Any guidepin may be used and may be glued in place.
6.
Stock manufacturer or stock replacement electricals only.
'Ski' type shoes are considered stock replacement and shall
be legal. Silver and gold plated parts are legal.
7.
Stock or 'Hot Stock' armatures only. NO rewinds, dewinds,
etc. Wide gap armatures and 'Green Wire' armatures are not
legal.
8.
Chassis may be drilled for body mounting tubes, rear axle
retention, and may have pickup shoe tabs reinforced.
9.
Chassis may be sanded but not cut or modified in any other
way.
10.
Tyco/Mattel chassis may be drilled for adjustable brush
barrels.
11.Tyco/Mattel
bulkheads may have bushings installed.
12.Tomy
SG+ & BSRT G3 may use helper springs. These springs
may not extend outside of the endbell.
13.
Any other modifications will be considered illegal unless
cleared by the Tech committee.
