We are a growing
association of organized slot car racing. Our goal is to promote
all levels of the hobby of HO scale slot car racing in the province.
With classes ranging from stock Aurora Thunder Jets to modified
high tech racers OHORA has a class suitable for most HO scale racers,
novice to veteran. We presently have club contacts in Sudbury,
Mississauga,
North
Bay, Burlington,
and Callander.
OHORA is always
seeking to expand it's membership. Whether you are a racer in search
of competition or a track owner wanting to host a race, OHORA offers
a good starting point. Members participate in the organization,
hosting, and management of the series. This challenges our members
and helps to improve skills both on and off the track as well as
creates opportunities to share tuning techniques and tips.
If you are interested
in participating in a series as a driver, host track or sponsor
let the OHORA know. Additional
host tracks are always welcome, as without a venue, it is difficult
to schedule a race. Race schedules are planned around personal schedules
as best as possible to ensure that everyone will have equal chance
to participate and share the experience. All you need to do is make
your availability known, and in which manner you wish to participate
(racer, host, etc).
We hope to hear
from interested individuals, track owners or sponsors. If you have
a new track under construction, we'd love to hear from you as well.
